Five Best

1. As always some music to listen to while browsing this week's links - click the player above to listen (subscribers click into the post for the player).  The playlist is featured on grooveshark which is not supported by Safari.  It can be viewed on any other browser.  I like Chrome.  Bonus:  I even use Chrome on my iPhone & iPad.

2.  As you can see from the photo above it is freaking cold in the US this week.  Check out this video to see how we are all in this together.

3.  This is perfect for John - he is good at brewing beer and this would make his dreams come true!

4.  What I've been watching and listening to this week while working:

Watching:
I've been busy on the production line this week so I've been doing a lot more listening than watching. When I watch things while on the production line I find myself pausing a lot more often to stare at the screen.  Staring = less production.  I did get caught up on the last two episodes of Girls and I continue to try to get into Downton Abbey.  Am I missing something?  Quite a few people I know (who have similar tastes to me) love this show so I tried it out.  Don't get me wrong I like it but I haven't fallen in love yet.  I am only half way through season one though.  Do you watch this show?  What do you think?

Listening:
-Fresh Air with Jimmy Kimmel.  Loved his story regarding Jay Leno.
-Celebrity Playlist with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.  The host is a little out of hand with his super intense "hosting voice" but I love listening to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards share their perspective.  I also enjoyed Crossfire Hurricane for the same reason.
-I made this mix earlier in the month and I've been listening to it often this week.
-All Songs Considered Listener's Picks:  Best Albums of 2012.  The choices were fairly predictable but  I still enjoyed listening along as I like many of the artists featured.

5.  I'm loving this jumper, this chair, this tattoo, this bed and these words.

The temperatures are supposed to climb back into the twenties this weekend in New England which will be a little more winter like and a lot less arctic like - I am waiting patiently.  What plans do you have for the weekend?
