Slow It Down

The summer is flying by at breakneck speed. I can't believe we are just about to step into August. I love the lazy days of summer and want time to slow down so we have prolonged enjoyment of this lovely season. It seems like Monday comes and goes, before you know it Friday has arrived on our doorstep and then the cycle repeats itself.  On the days that Sylas and I are together and John is at work it is easy to be swallowed up in the daily routine of laundry, keeping up the house, etc. During August I want to be more intentional about planning some fun things to do with Sylas so we can soak up the Summer before Autumn finds its way to New England. 


 This weekend we have company coming over both days and I'm looking forward to visiting. On Monday my brother and I are visiting the tattoo parlor and then we may possibly head north to visit some family. I hope you have a wonderful summer weekend!
